SCCA Club Racing is the premier form of amateur road racing in the United States.  Events are just as much a social event as competitive one.  Drivers are often friends off track and the Saturday evening parties are legendary.  Whether you are interested in driving or helping to put on the races, there is something for every car lover at these events.

Milwaukee Region road racing offers wheel to wheel excitement on some of the most scenic race tracks in the country. Michael Andretti, Bobby Rahal, Scott Sharp, Danny Sullivan, Paul Newman and many others started their careers with the SCCA and you can too.

Start by joining the SCCA, see your doctor for a sports physical, submit your Novice Permit Application and sign up for the spring drivers school. If you're aged 16-18 you'll also need a minor release waiver. Note that your car will have to have the required safety gear per the General Competition Rules or GCR. Another option is to rent a car for your drivers school so you can concentrate on your driving and not have to worry about breaking in a new-to-you car.
